Almost two thousand years ago the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ first proclaimed the gospel message that He is both Lord and Christ. Those who believed the message were told to repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of their sins. Three thousand people were baptized that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles teachings, fellowship, the breaking of bread, prayer and praise. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved (Acts 2:47). The Lawrenceburg church of Christ consists of people who have also believe that Jesus is both Lord and Christ and have been baptized for the forgiveness of their sins and been added to the number of those being saved.
